LA Eats: Bottega Louie

To put it simply, this place is amazing. Beyond the rows of flawless desserts, macaron flavors so endless they rival Pantone, and food that left us speechless, Bottega Louie is a beautiful space.

The airiness of the washed interior, and bright two-story ceilings are made even more opulent with thoughtfully placed Carrara marble throughout. At BL, even the pizza oven is glamorous. It is LA after all…

This place has earned a bulletproof reputation for a reason. Not only were we blown away by the unexpected flavors of the dishes, but also the perfect level of service- attentive, but not in-your-face.

We recommend the unique flavors of the Tuna Crudo dressed with blood orange, as well as the Grilled Prawns – Grilled giant tiger prawns, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes & white wine marinière sauce. And, as this is definitely not a place to skip dessert – the Creme Brûlée – Tahitian vanilla bean custard brulée served with seasonal berries. It hits a perfect balance between its textures, and isn’t for a second too sweet.
