1. Maison Francis Kurkdjian Féminin Pluriel: Parisian Rose

Balancing sophistication and sensuality, this perfume is a grand floral bouquet. The fragrance leads with notes of Florentine Iris, rose, and Egyptian Jasmine and finishes with a warm base of vetiver and Indonesian Patchouli. Maison Francis Kurkdjian calls it, “A beautiful creation composed of a multitude of facets, designed to evolve with freedom and sensuality, unbound from fleeting fashions,” and we have to agree.

2. Byredo Flowerhead: Lush Intoxication

Byredo’s newest fragrance captures the rich scents of a traditional, Indian wedding. The fragrance’s evolution is like a ceremony itself with top notes of angelica seeds, Sicilian Lemon, and Swedish Lingonberry, a heart of wild jasmine and tuberose, and an ending of fresh amber and suede. Byredo’s classically, floral fragrance makes a lovely addition to any collection.

3. Helmut Lang : The Modern Esthete

Helmut Lang describes its perfume collection as “a modern exploration of scent.” The soft tones of fresh lavender and rosemary, heart of jasmine and rose, and top notes of orange tree are mellowed by Virginian Cedarwood, Indonesian Patchouli, and warm amber. This powdery, sensual fragrance is a unique and natural scent.

4. Maison Margiela Flower Market: Sweet Minimalist

Maison Margiela’s fragrance was meant to capture the scent of “freshly cut flowers” in a marketplace, and the result is simply lovely. Scents of rose petals, jasmine, and tuberose combine with notes of cedar and moss to reproduce the memory of searching for a bouquet, quite closely.

5.  Le Labo Rose 31: Sublime Refinery

Mesmerizingly ambiguous, this fragrance alternates between the floral and the spicy, as well as the feminine and the masculine. The perfume begins with centifolia rose, followed by a chorus of warm, spicy, and woodsy notes, such as cumin, olbanum, cedar, and just a touch of amber. The striking, elegant, and austere beginning of Rose 31 gives way to sweet rose with spicy pepper, clove, and nutmeg; the perfect perfume to give off an air of mystery.
