An outfit does not need to pop with color in order to be interesting. Caroline de Maigret demonstrated that during Paris Fashion Week. The model, soundtrack recording artist, and publisher used an earth tone ensemble that caught our attention in an “ooooh how lovely” sort of way. Our stylists set out to recreate her look for you, and here is their take.

The foundation for this look is definitely the juniper-green jumpsuit. Our stylists chose Altuzarra’s Foxhound Faille Jumpsuit for you. A fun and practical choice, this piece can be used not only all fall and winter but transition you into spring too.

Finishing the foundation is easy. Just remove the thick belt from the jumpsuit and substitute it with a slim, brown belt. Our stylists’ choice for this element is the Western-inspired brown leather belt by Saint Laurent.

The key to this look’s sophistication is the coat. It’s simple lines and length add levity and grace. Fashion IQ’s stylist recommend Helmut Lang’s light-khaki cashmere coat. This piece is so soft and lovely it is bound to become one of your favorites.

And lastly come the accessories. A sage-colored bag (Fashion IQ recommends the Drew Mini by Chloe) and bold square-framed sunglasses (Fashion IQ recommends the square-frame by Bottega Venetta) are the perfect way to complete this look. And now you not only have a simply beautiful earth-tone look, you have several new pieces that will revive your entire wardrobe.
