MILAN FASHION WEEK: Mens Street Style

There is something about seeing a man like Justin O’Shea walking down the street dressed to kill. He was one of many handsome attendees turning eyes during the Milan Fashion Week for Mens Spring 2016, in what we like to think of as the catwalk on the streets.

Though there were a few models caught walking to the shows, the real Milan street style show was put on by the attendees. What makes us really love street style is that, much like the designers who are putting on the show inside, the guests are expressing their own ideas about what is in fashion on the outside. And ultimately, the guests will be the ones to decide what inspiration from each show will influence their world of fashion.

So what kind of fashion was made on the streets of Milan? There were a few things that caught our eye. Let’s just say it got pretty strappy. Straps! One could almost call them an accessory, if they weren’t sewn into place. Male guests were wearing tops, blazers, and even pants with strap closures, though they weren’t strictly a functional element of the pieces.

Another catching look… mono color ensembles. There were a plethora of well dressed men who not only matched their blazer and trousers, they matched their accessories too. Fashion designer Roberto Mararo went so far as to match his bike with his blue suit. Or maybe it was the other way around. Whichever way, the look was stunning.

Needless to say, we were inspired by Mens Street Style in Milan. Get inspired yourself by perusing some of Nabile’s Street Style photos from Milan Fashion Week below.
