On May 17, the Parisian house designer Olivier Rousteing made a big announcement at the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas, revealing his collaboration with H&M. Models Jourdan Dunn, Kendall Jenner, and the designer himself debuted the first looks from the upcoming collection at the red carpet event. Even from this little taste, we can definitely say that we’re looking forward to the launch!

The news of the Balmain x H&M collection made headlines! The collaboration follows in the footsteps of other high-profile designer collaborations, such as Alexander Wang, Versace, Isabel Marant, and Maison Martin Margiela. With an enormous fan base of celebrities and fashionistas, not to mention 1.1 million Instagram followers, we can predict this collaboration will be a huge success!
The super luxury brand, founded in 1945, will unite with H&M customers to bring a ‘movement of togetherness.’ The designer’s aim as he put it, “is to talk to his generation.” According to Rousteing, this line will retain the glamour and richness of Balmain with a little twist… giving people access to a dose of luxury, at an affordable level.
The collection launches worldwide in November, but we can see the line forming already!
