Mens New York Fashion Week is still in its infancy… if it were a person it would barely be walking and have a three word vocabulary. But it’s not a person, and it was born in a city with a lengthy fashion heritage, one that already possesses a Women’s Fashion Week regarded as one of the most important in the world. In other words, it may be a young show but it’s still “New York Fuckin City,” as was so astutely written on the shirt of a handsome, irritable, male attendee.

Speaking of New York City (and beautiful attendees), the street style apparel couldn’t seem to get enough of “NYC” prints on shirts, jackets, and sweaters as the guests paraded off to their shows. Otherwise attendees kept their ensembles minimalistic in the subdued tones that us New Yorkers adore, occasionally adding a dose of color.

Of women who dress like men, there were plenty of those… A Mens Fashion Week phenomenon that never gets old. There is something so classy about woman who can make menswear look lovely without going frumpy. Not as easy as it sounds. And of men who dressed like women, there was one of those. If you ask us our opinion… he looks stunning.

What would you wear if you had a ticket to one of these coveted shows?
