PFW FASHION IQ FRONT ROW : Miu Miu SS15

On the final day of Paris Fashion week, Miuccia Prada demonstrated her inspiring ready-to-wear Spring/ Summer 2015 collection. Our very own Elena Kibalchich was there covering the show. We are so excited about what she saw that we must share her i phone pics with all of you.

The show was heavy for print, ruffles, plaids and fur. Designers often get their inspiration from past decades, and Miuccia was no exception. We loved the vintage looking silk shirts combined with heavy wool plaid skirts that she used, as well as the jackets with brown suede details, not to mention the high-waisted, floral pencil skirts combined with bra and even cropped tops, though it was the lovely ruffles she added to the pieces that we really loved!

Her swing coats in candy colored pastels had collars trimmed with fur, which we adored. But our favorites were the accessories… Miu Miu bags, small, compact, and timeless. A person of style could literally use one for 50 years and it would not be outdated. The shoes were not all so timeless, but we don’t care! They were fun!  High, bulky platforms, heels with crushed bows on the side, and Prada’s signature sock boot.

All in all we loved the show. We can’t wait to add some pieces from the Miu Miu collection this coming Spring, giving us something to look forward to this winter. And most importantly, we can’t wait to show our clients how they can make the most of this collection in their own wardrobes.

Thank You Miuccia!
