While it can be a bit of a wait to get a table, especially for outdoor seating on a sunny day, it is a great place for people watching, and catching up with friends. You just might run into Café Gitane regulars, Jessica Biel, Sienna Miller, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sarah Jessica Parker, or Michelle Williams.
When visiting this gem, we recommend the baked organic eggs with smoked salmon, capers, potatoes and cream, their Moroccan couscous with hummus, red peppers, potatoes, raisins, toasted pine nuts, and organic chicken, and their Baked feta with capers, thyme, and olives.
While service is always prompt and friendly, be advised that Café Gitane only accepts cash.
One last piece of advice… Don’t miss the watermelon juice or great tea selection!
