Not to say we aren’t fans of black. How could we… we live in New York! It’s the anthem color of the city, next to grey, and the tone of choice for the wardrobes of almost all the fashionistas, designers, and just ordinary New Yorkers rushing through the city. But, we must admit that even though we love it, wearing it all the time can get boring. That’s why we’ve decided Blue should be the New Black.

We aren’t the only ones… Men’s Street Style has been swarming with varying shades of blue. Azure, Cobalt, Sky, Cornflower, Denim, Ultra Marine, & of course the closest one can get to black in the fashion world, Navy Blue. Does that mean we all have the blues? I guess so… but not the way you may think.

The color blue is anything but sad. According to symbologists it is the color of wisdom, health, calmness, confidence, and even power. Color Psychologists say that color can effect our moods and even alter our blood pressure. If that’s really the case, then we think we might wear blue every day. And for New Yorkers that truly will define that Blue is the New Black.
