Suits are no longer reserved for the office only. The ‘Business look’ trend was seen all over fashion week, with fashionistas sporting looks combining structured blazers, pants, streamlined skirts, coats, and interesting accessories. The pantsuits were also a fixture on runways this season, with so many options and great alternatives from designers like Helmut Lang, Tom Ford, Celine, Sonia Rykiel, Chanel, Stella McCartney, as well as many others.
TIP 1: Shake up the business look: Corporate style doesn’t have to be boring. From pairing a pencil skirt with sneakers to wearing a structured pantsuit with loafers and a bright clutch, it’s all about creating contrast while retaining polish. Monochrome or multi colored, the key is to add a personal touch while making it casually wearable.
TIP 2: Maintaining Femininity with an Androgynous Suit: A classic pantsuit is a staple in anyone’s wardrobe but who wouldn’t love channeling Coco Chanel through the ‘Lady Tomboy’ look? The crisp button down paired with jeans is instantly classic while the ‘black and white’ look is always a safe bet.
